Golden Strings members Zhang Kaize (14 years old) and Zou Zhuochen (16 years old) began studying the violin at the age of 4 and a half under the guidance of Mr. Lei Xinchao and Ms. Wang Yi.
They achieved notable successes, with Zhang Kaize winning third prize and Zou Zhuochen taking first prize in the Philharmonic and Chamber Music categories at the 2021 Kreutzer International Music Competition. Both also won the first prize at the 2022 Crescendo International Music Competition between Europe and China. In 2023, at the 14th China Music Golden Bell Awards Gansu Selection Competition, they earned multiple awards, including first place, and both now serve as principals of the Lanzhou Youth Chamber Orchestra.
Golden Strings, founded in 2022, has studied a wide range of works from different musical periods. The group has benefited from the guidance of numerous experts and has participated in various charitable performances and musical activities.
